Hope has joined the Finance team at The HR Dept as the Accounts Coordinator. Hope supports the finance team for both Bristol and Central offices. She has a lot of experience within Administration, gaining NVQs in Business and Administration Level 2 & 3 during A levels and then progressing into finance. She has more than 5 years’ experience working in finance with SME businesses.

Karis’ role includes; supporting our network with any general support enquiries, system administration, commercial compliance, documentation management and project co-ordination. Karis has taken on a variety of different roles within her professional career previous to joining us, predominantly working in financial institutions in both Business Management and Customer Service roles. In her spare time, Karis enjoys to go on walks, spend time with her family and cooking

Ellen is the Business Support Coordinator for the HR Dept. Ellen’s role includes; supporting our network with any general support enquiries, system administration, commercial compliance, documentation management and project co-ordination. With over 7 years of experience working with SMEs, Ellen also brings a wealth of knowledge in customer services, account management and administrative roles.  She has a strong drive for success and a passion for high levels of customer service. In her spare time, Ellen is a keen cook and an ardent camper and theatregoer, but mainly loves spending time with her friends and family.

After graduating from the University of Chester in 2018 with a degree in Geography & International Development Studies, Matthias joined our operations team as the Business Support Administrator. In the summer of 2019, Matthias became the Business Support Coordinator and as of Autumn 2021 he is now the Business Support Manager. As Business Support Manager for The HR Dept, Matthias manages the operational infrastructure and client support services for The HR Dept franchise network across the UK and Republic of Ireland; with a focus around managing client support services, project management, franchise contract delivery and IT/CRM system development. Matthias has experience in business operations across the commercial, charity, and creative sectors as well as a keen interest in photography and film.

Max is the Marketing Administrator for The HR Dept. His role is to support the marketing team and our network with their marketing activities. In July 2022, Max graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Business Management Degree and has since worked in a short-term IT project support role. With marketing being an area he is particularly passionate and enthusiastic about, he looks to build on his existing experience with his creative and detailed approach towards marketing activities and projects.

Liana manages the marketing function for The Health & Safety Dept, nestled under the umbrella of The HR Dept Group. She crafts and executes marketing strategies and campaigns to increase the recognition and success of The Health & Safety Dept.

HR and health and safety often go hand in hand. Part of Liana’s role is to collaborate between the two companies to enhance their collective value proposition for the diverse range of clients. Liana provides health and safety-focused marketing materials, guidance and support to HR licensees who seek to engage with The Health & Safety Dept to complement their own offering to their clients.

Sam’s role is to manage brand consistency, growth, and strategy for the network, ensuring licensees have the best possible marketing tools and campaigns available to help them achieve success. He has experience working on both sides of the franchise agreement, so understands and appreciates the strong relationships required and the marketing techniques that work best in the franchise industry.
